To say that I grew up in the train industry would be an understatement. The truth is, being a railfan is in my blood. My family has been in the train industry for over 45 years and proudly built a business known worldwide as a model railroader’s paradise, run by train enthusiasts for train enthusiasts. As the store manager, I shared my passion with train lovers of all ages. I loved seeing the little engineers light up when I taught them about train car classes and how trains work, and I enjoyed helping first-time buyers and life-long fans build layouts based on their real-world surroundings or indulge in imaginative creations. The train industry is also where I met my husband, and the love we share for trains is something that plays a role in our day-to-day lives, as well as our travel adventures!
